I have a neighboor that is a real a$$ (sorry to offend any a$$es out there). For the past year he had let his old Pit dog run free in our area. This caused me much problems with my dogs and trash clean up. I made a few calls to AC and I think he was fined but continued to allow his dog to roam.
I think she has passed on since I have not seen her in a few months.
Last week though I saw a Golden Retriever pup running up my street and then his daughters chasing after it calling Lady. The pup was finally caught and he was calling it names like SOB and Effin dog is gonna get it.
All week and this last weekend the dog would be on the street and bark at people taking walks and the same yelling and screaming would happen. Yesterday I hear the guy yelling at the dog then hear a thump and then the dog squeeling and yelping. Then nothing. I have not seen the pup since.
I so want to just go kick him in the face you have no idea how pissed I am.
Time to make a call? I think it is.

    Definitely.

Sometimes dogs that run loose around the streets 'get lost'.

yup and tell them exactly what you heard...hopefully the pup is okay, but if not maybe your call will prevent them from being able to get another dog and starting over again

Ok after work just a little bit ago I heard him yelling for the dog again but no yelps, so I am assuming she is ok but I will still make the call to AC and see what they want to do.
I feel bad for the little girls too, but feel worse for poor Lady. Maybe she will find her way into my truck and to a better home.
    Bad, bad thoughts.

    Well crap!
They can't find her. We live near a very busy highway and I can see most of the end of my area from my back deck. The whole family and some other people are walking all over yelling lady. I call AC but they told me call back between 7:30 and 4:30 tomorrow. I sure hope she is ok.
Some people are to stupid to be a dog companion.

someday I'll post about what happened to a little rat terrier my nephew had - nothing bad but the dog just vanished :y_the_best:

I had not seen the pup all evening and didn't hear the girls screaming until 9:00 PM at night like usual. I did not see the dog or the guy this morning as I drove off for work either.
I called AC and they told me they can not even come out unless I could see the dog loose. I even told them about what I think was a kicked dog. Sorry can't do anything unless you say it. I asked to file a complaint about AC and the neighboor, he said he could not take a complaint unless I could see the dog.
I am going to set up my snap security cam and get some shots of the dog wandering around if she is in fact still around.
