yep, And i thought before I looked at the pic it has to be the ears that is the giveaway and sure enough.

What about the ears? I think it's his fat little face and extra skin that says Sharpei. I know very little about them, though.

He's doing well. He is still learning the housetraining thing and he has his puppy moments, but he's a good guy. He has funny fat feet (or the pads on his feet) as well, so he makes a funny clomping sound instead of the click-click-click of toenails.

He is a stick addict just like Nala. All one of them has to do is pick up a stick and look at the other one, and then they're off playing chase and teasing each other with the stick.

He's also a big goof and is constantly running into you or tripping you.

He was neutered last week and did great. For once, someone healed quickly and cleanly!

He has an application on him, but the dad wants to meet him and he was out of town over the weekend. Then he came back but the wife said he was having a really bad day and she'd call me later in the week. I am not going to call again. If he doesn't really want a dog then I don't want Carter going there anyway.

    Hes adorable :D
So apart from the stick have you got him playing with any toys yet? Ive had a few dogs that dont know what to do with a toy, always makes me a little sad thinking that maybe no one has ever taken the time to play with them.

He's a cutie! Looks a little like a lab that got popped in the nose lol.

My Brie dog didn't play with toys until just recently. And she will be 9 in a few weeks. It's almost like she's re-living her puppyhood. It's fun to watch her play because she never has.

Yes, he will chew on stuff now and play with a ball. I'm sure he would like to play tug and rip up soft toys, but I can't have those out because Nala eats them in 5 seconds or less.

My Bonnie still doesn't know what to do with toys very much. Sometimes I see her with a ball, but if I walk toward her she will abandon it and come to me instead. She won't take a ball from me or fetch it. She is interested in a soft frisbee, but Nala hogs it. It's a "special" toy that I only take out once in a while because Nala wants desperately to eat it.
