    things?
I have a new cat wand toy that I've been making (got sent one by a siamese rescue foster for Dixie Chick). They are so easy to make and cats love 'em. so I wanted to share.
    It's crocheting.
    Chain 200.
In the first 2 stitches do 5 double chains in each.
Do 3 doubles in each stitch after
the last stitch again do 5 double
Using an 8" 1/4" round dowel use a hot glue gun to attach the end to the dowel and then done.
    Look like this

Too much like work  heheh Just kidding  Actually, I just learned to do card weaving last week and I think that would work great for making something like that with much less work.

I'm a total craft whore LOL

I guess I'm of the wrong generation...
I learned how to knit during the first years of school, but I've forgotten how to do it a looong time ago

I find knitting boring but love to crochet. You should pick up a book on it Bente, it's really pretty easy and you can make all sorts of things.

Moe would love one of those. Too bad for her I don't crochet!

That is a really great idea. I haven't crochet in years but maybe I'll have to pick it up again and try to make one.

Finding the time is the issue. It's not like I don't have time but I feel so disorganized now...I need to get organized. Hopefully it will happen someday.

I don't think crochet(ing?) is something for me... I love to paint and draw, but I can't even find the time to do that anymore. I work too much

I crochet all the time, it gives me something to do while watching TV. Lately I've been buying yarn really cheap at places like thrift stores & yard sales (often get new, full skeins for a fraction of the cost I'd pay for them from a store). Generally people just throw several skeins in a bag and sell it as a whole. When that happens and there's some not-so-pretty colors in there, I crochet small blankets (maybe 24" X 24"). in December I'm going to donate them to the local animal shelter.
