    Hi folks,

I am trying figure out what the right size dog run is for my dog. She is just a puppy at the moment but wont stay that way for long. There are so many sizes to choose from. the standard height seems to be 4 or 6 feet. I figure I better go for the taller one just in case. But as far as L&W im not to sure. Is 6 or 7 feet large enough for a full size GSD.

I would go for the biggest run you can afford. Definitely 4 feet high is not tall enough.

Afford is right. I never knew how expensive dog runs were. My boyfriend keeps saying he can build one for less but some of you ladies may agree with me when i say by the time that happens she will be five.... :D

I just bought one for my saints. I got the biggest they had 10x10x6. It is actually pretty big and it keeps them contained (I only have it just in case I need it for something). It was $169 + 15 for delivery. It came in four panels that I had to put together. I don't think it is the absolute highest quality but I rarely keep them in it so that is not my biggest concern. They sell them at Lowes and Home depot for a similar price, but they are harder to put together.

Where did you order it from? I have not found one for less than 250.00 not including shipping or the top panel. And that was for a 6x6x6.

It was from a local pet store, not a retail or catalog store.
