Dog Scootering

Just caught the end of a story last night about people hooking up their dogs to a two wheel scooter then cruising along like a dog sled. All sorts of dogs were being trained and it looked like a great idea for a dog in need of a job and exercise. I had thought of rollerbladding with Duke but that would be suicide for sure. At least on a scooter you can hop off quickly if the dog decides to suddenly detour. Everyone including the dogs seemed to having a great time.
Has anyone tried this?

 

When Nala was alive my son would put on rollerblades and take her on the leash they had a great time if nala started to go to fast he would let go of her leash but most of the time she did good. I on the other hand am i big sissy last time i put rollerblades on i broke my wrist in 4 places i will never put them on again lol

 

no but I'm thinking it would be a blast! Just as long as the person wasn't harsh to the dog and didn't weigh to much for him....

 

I saw a shpw where a woman had a sled on wheels and she had her 2 huskies hoooked to it and pulled her thru teh park, looked like fun for all

My two PitBulls love to pull. Together I think they could pull a small truck.
My Husband was thinking about fabricating a cart of some sort so they could pull us up and down the street. The dogs would have a ball and I would love to see our neighbors eyes pop out of their heads watching us.

I have tried to rollershoe (not skate or blade) with Luther and that was quite a workout for me. It seemed he would get scared and run and then relize running away wouldn'T help he would stop and curl up in a ball, it wasn't so good that day.

 

When I was a kid our neighbor had a Black Lab and he was huge. They fasioned a cart out of a wagon and he pulled us all over the place. He loved it and so did we.
