Doggies Birthday & other Holidays... Do yall celebrate?!

I mean like... an actual party.... i know on christmas, ALL my animals get alot of new things... lol my dog LOVESSS christmas..

 

I've never had an actual party but I usually buy mine special toys, treats or food for their birthdays and christmas. For Natalie's first birthday I bought her a bunch of presents, made her a fake doggie birthday cake and put a birthday hat on her head.

My dogs get special treats on their birthdays and of course Christmas and this passed Easter I made little easter baskets for each of them when the kids woke up they were more excited that the Easter Bunny had brought baskets for the dogs then they were about their own. :lol:

 

During the Christmas Break and Easter Break they get toys, food & treats.

Because I am unaware of their birth dates, they have a party at the end of the month they were born in. Jasper was born in November and Miah was born in April, so then at the end of month when it's time to have a party, we have covered their birthday....LOL

 

We too give the fur kids gifts on the holidays. They also get something special for their birthday. My husky loves rides in cars but doesnt get to go too much so for her birthday we take her riding and she is in heaven!

My hubby thinks i am nuts but the doggies love their special little treats.

 

We celebrate our dogs birthdays and Christmas with them. Annie hasn't been here long enough to have a birthday party or be here for christmas, but I can bet she'll love her party. My German Shepherd who stayed with my mom when I went off to college and is her baby and will never leave her now, has always had parties. He's a master at carefully unwrapping his gifts with his teeth, and I always make him a dog food birthday cake. His birthday was this month, but I couldn't make it down there, so we're having his party in a few weeks when I can drive in. Hope he doesn't notice..hehe. Talk about spoiled dogs, eh?

someday, what a cute picture. I dont celebrate their bdays, but they alwasy get toys at chirstmas. I wrap them real good, but cant put them under th tree until crhistmas day because Jake will find them and open them

I only do Xmas! But today I got a bridal magazine and it also had bridal gifts for dogs! And a card that is really some sort of chew thing! It says,"FUNNY BONE If you're the type to give your per a birthday card (you know you are) Crunchkins' edible oneswere made for you. The flat, rawhide treats have fun greetings printed in nontoxic ink, and can be mailed right to your dog- um, door" Bridal Guide What does that have to do with getting married? I am still trying to figure that out!

 

Absoutely. I even have a video of old Jake's fifth birthday party. Here is a photo of the old man on his 14th birthday just a year before I lost him.

for kuma and pheobe the cats birthday this year i invited my family around and cooked a roast. kuma has chicken cake with rice cooked in chicken stock and pheobe had a wet food cake with chicken bits in it.
