New to these boards. I have to puppies a lab and dalmation. My lab has loose stools but still eating and playing. My dalmation has had loose stools for a few days but today he started having watery-yellow-mucusy stools. (well one) After that one he kept straining but all that was comming out was liquid. It wasn't water, I guess maybe clear mucus. I know he's sick and needs a vet. But does anybody have any idea what it could be? My hubby works and we only have one car so I'm here scared to death about him. :?

If both are having diahreah. It could be change in diet, Parvo, or ghardia...

Vet is definately needed. Puppies can dehydrate and die very quickly. I highly reccomend having them taken in as soon as possible!!!

Thanks. Dalmation just had a much more normal bowl movement, still a little soft, but I'm def going to take both. I was reading into cornoviurs? and giardi?

yep, puppies are apt to getting all of them. They need to be fully vaccinated and wormed.

parasite infestation can cause diahreah as well.
