I had a thought today (I have them you know...I'm exhausted now) my mother is in her late 60s - that qualifies her as a senior citizen. So I asked her to come up...she did.

She visited with Dora for awhile and Dora was making bread on the blanket getting quite animated...she was happy acting.

Later on I came in, after my mother left, and Dora seemed interested in the smells on my hand. So I went and got her some chicken (I give Sadie chicken cooked of course mixed with her food). DORA ATE IT!!!! She ate on her own.

And she's playing with a catnip sack. She's done a total 360 since my mother was here. I invited my mother back - I fear it'll become a habit.

That's AWSOME news!! i kinda figured it was something like that... which is why i suggested getting something that belonged to her previous owner.

i'm so happy for Dora and you! perhaps regular visits would be a good thing :)

That's great Mary! Let's just hope she'll still eat when your mom is not there. Your mom must have been pretty happy to know that she got her to feel better and eat.

All Right! Good job! Mothers always seem to have that touch.
