Ok, Boe is again this summer having the dry skin. He's eating mainly raw with a little kibble. I've added in Salmon oil and egg and he's still got flakey skin.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to try and wash him in betadine and then follow up with Selson blue. Hopeuflly that will help a bit... I have been using a high moisture shampoo and it helps a tiny bit, but i'm just not seeing results and his poor face and back seem sto be the worst!!! His coat is very shiney and he's gotgood energy, i'm just not sure why he's got such dry skin.

He's been tested for mites and was negative. He did have a couple flea's. Apparently the Promeris isn't working. I haven't had any luck with Frontline, advantage or anything. The advanticks flea collars nothing seems to work!!!

We've got a horrible horrible outbreak of them this year. Its dry and so hot. I've started treating my kennels with some stuff, but i have to leave them out of the kennel area for 12 hours after using it. WHich i just leave them out for 24 to be safe. UGH!!!

Even the pest professionals are claiming this is one of the worst years for fleas. Just a walk in the pasture and they're jumping on your legs!!!!

I'm starting to think Boe's skin issues may be related, tho the vet claims they aren't. Who knows.. all I want is my boy back to good healthy moist skin.
