Vet said it was just a fatty lipoma and to observe it. If it gets any bigger then we can discuss whether or not to have it removed.

Duke is now 5 1/2 years old and last week I felt a small lump on his lower left side. My old Lab, Jake, developed many lumps as he aged and all were harmless lipomas or fatty lumps. Since this is Duke's first I am going to take him in for a simple needle aspirate jus to make sure. I'll post an update when we get home.

That is good news :D .

Jake goes in on Thursday to have his checked out he has 5 the size of tennis balls and several other smaller ones.

I know they are all lipomas but want to check to make sure they are not interfering, in addition, he gets his senior check up, he is 10 this month
