Duncan More needy since fight?

Since the fight my dogs had almost 2 weeks ago and having Duncan FIXED he has become more loving (more needy). He cuts me off in the house and sits up in the Panda Bear pose several times a day and even sneaks up behind me and Panda Poses with his paws on my legs or butt. He even tries to lay his head in my lap more often than he ever did before.

I am wondering if he was traumatised by being at work with me and getting left in the warehouse for an hour or two at a time or is there something else bugging him. Dowser seems to be a little more needy too but it is hardly noticable.
Maybe he just wants to go for a ride?

He's been through a lot of changes in a short time, the trauma from the fight, neutered, taken to work with you but not being with you...strange place for him maybe. So Im thinking 2 things could be going on.... either all the 'goings on' are making him act a little clingy, he could be a little insecure, dogs (most pets)are creatures of habit and when something comes along and alters their usual routines they can become unsettled and you'll see behavioural changes.
The other thing is after the fight and the trip to the vet, most people either through having to spend more time tending to wounds or after surgery/hospital stay will give more attention, comfort them more...its natural, we all feel bad if our pet is feeling bad, sometimes we let them get away with things that they normally wouldnt get away with, for example...usual routine may be the dogs not allowed up on the couch...but because he's been injured or had surgery..."well the couch is okay just for a few days"...dogs learn soooooo quick, hes had your undivided attention and he loves it and he has every intention of continuing to get it :)
If everything else is okay, all wounds and the surgery site look good, he's eating and acting (otherwise) okay try and 'play down' his attention seeking, ignore his constant 'requests', he should be back to his usual routine soon.

I was think about the same thing, he got all this extra attention and now wants to keep it coming. Makes sense. But he sure is more happy and playfull since his oredeal. Jumping around like a puppy with toys, running hard around the yard and flying up the stairs and hitting me with his paws. Man that hurts sometimes.

 I know how you feel. Been there a few times.
If you want to calm him down just a little I would ignore the 'over-excitement' or if before the fight and surgery he was used to hearing a specific word ('no' or 'off' or something) use it a bit more sternly with him and give him 'low key' praise when he's relaxed. The way he's behaving right now is not uncommon but its good to get him back in his usual routine. :)

Oh he knew the word "NO" well before the events. But now when I say "NO" he stares at me with a stupid look like "You must surely be joking". But it's all good, they are just kids that need attention.
