What fish are good with these mini freshwater puffer fish? They are so cute! They dont even look like they have tails! Are they hard to maintain?

Puffers don't really mix well with anything really. Things with medium to longer fins will get nipped by the puffers and they can get pretty nasty with other fish. Also, you have to feed them snails every now and again to file down their little "beak". Usually they are best kept in smaller species tanks.

I've always wanted one though

Sounds good! Keep in mind with your kribs though that unless you get two females they probably will decide to spawn  and that can get ugly. Also for a 55 keep no more than two or else they will get into territory disputes.

If i can, i want to talk to my girl about just getting all female fish, that way they arent as agressive or territorial.
I really dont wanna worry about little fry swimmin around.

LOL! That's kind of what I did with my guppies. All the girls in one tank, all the boys in another! I want to get a little sign that says "No boys allowed" to put in the ladies tank, I just think it would be cute

So, just out of curiosity... who are we talking to? Heather or Nicole? Or is it a mixture of both... I've been wondering, I wanna say Heather, but how can you really tell lol!
