Please cross-post this to any APBT and Rescue sites you are aware
of! Time is of the essence, their civil hearing is Monday, April
26, 2004, and we need confirmation of potential homes!
Hello, all! I'm a new member as of today. Set up my system for the
sole purpose of trying to save some beautiful and wonderful dogs.

I have three (3) days to locate and verify adoptive, foster, or
rescue homes for eight (8) full grown Pits. For this miracle to
    occur, I need your assistance.

The first four (4) adults were involved in a bite attack, but have
been continually evaluated as non-human aggressive. "Max" is about 4
years old, dominant alpha male, deep chocolate brown blue
nose. "Sweet Pea" is about 5 years old, red and white marble with
white patch over eye (like Our Gang) red nose, extremely fertile
breeder. "Cody" is almost 3 years, light brown with black on
snout. "Melissa" is almost 3 years, light brown with black on
snout. These are the accidental bite dogs, and most likely will
only be allowed to live out their lives at a rescue (if the Judge
grants mercy and justice). Throughout, trainers and their SPCA
handlers will confirm they are not human aggressive and have
    wonderful dispositions. However,
the county government is adamant in having them destroyed, so it has
become a tremendous fight and effort to save their lives. Hopefully
they will be allowed to live out their lives in a rescue kennel, but
I have had no luck enlisting the help of one, and am turning to you
for your personal contacts in this regard.

The other four (4) are about 2 years old. They were born in the
SPCA kennel and have never enjoyed being outdoors or having human
love. They "freeze" up on a leash because they've never heard
birds, or cars, or other "outside noises". They need to spend time
be socialized and learning to adjust in separate homes with extra
loving owners. They are beautiful in colors and physical
attributes, the cornerstone of their beautiful parents Sweet Pea and
Max. They had nothing to do with the accident, and don't deserve to
have been penalized, but the SPCA will not adopt them out either
because of their lack of socialization skills. They will pay the
ultimate inhumane price if I cannot find individuals to adopt or
    foster them.

Again, their Court hearing is in only three days. My e-mail is
michaelbryan_ca@n..., and my home telephone number is 559/338-
0559. We live in the center of California, in Fresno County. I
also need contacts to local breeders, trainers, experts, and kennels
the closer to me the better in terms of costs. If you can offer ANY
help or direction, please contact me immediately in either form (I
would prefer voice, if possible). I will answer any questions you
may have concerning the situation. I have professional out-of-state
Breeders, George & Denise Arceo of Bull Rock Kennels in Nevada, out-
of-town Dog Behavior Expert, Dr. Richard Polsky of Los Angeles, and
local Lawyer, Randy Shrout, who can verify my account of the dogs
outstanding behavior and current circumstance. Unfortunately, I
cannot afford their costs to travel from so far away to testify in
this civil hearing to have the dogs destroyed. Please help me find
others to confer with them, who are close enough to testify at
    court.

Photographs of the dogs will be made available upon private request.

I honestly pray someone can assist, even only with moral and
emotional support during this tragic time.

    Thanks in advance,
    Michael Bryan
