fancytailed guppy tank mates.

    i have had a 15 gallon high customized tank acclimating and have decided maybe to start with guppies but i am not excactly sure, anyone know any good tankmates? any other suggestions? thanks alot -tl

    maybe some neons

    Otos or small species of cories. But if you're going to be keeping both males & females, they'll pretty much fill up the tank on their own.

    Neons are usually nice, but it can be hard finding a tank mate for them concidering their fins are open for most tetras to nip. So go with platties, other guppies or neons.

    if you plan to keep fancy guppies then tetra's will be happy to help remove the tails off your fancy guppies, but if there non-fancy guppies, then neons are fine, but as above, male and female guppies will fill the tank for you.

    Cories are social fish so you really should keep them in groups of at least 3 (6 would be better).
