Hi, I'm new here and I was wondering what types of fish go well with fiddler crabs since they need brakish water. And how I create that kind of water for them.

    thanks,

well, since crabs and other crusteceans (spelling?) are carnivorous, i dont know if there would be a perfect fish for the tank, b/c it might go after it...

i had a huge one in a 10g. the thing about them is that they have to be able to get out of the water.the love to climb as well.

but they're bottom feeders, and their claws aren't exactly designed for catching fish. I'm mostly interesting in knowing what could live in the same water.

I believe Mollys and maybe puffers can live in brackish water. Make sure before you go to buy your crab you find a picture of a healthy one so that you know what to look for.
