My boyfriend and I just moved back to Southern California from Seattle in February. Our cat Stewart has been with us since he was a baby and he did the move to Seattle from San Diego and from Seattle to Long Beach. He is our baby and he is an indoor cat. He ONLY likes to go outside if its safe, like on a balcony.

We have a balcony that is also the entrance to our place that is shared by our neighbor who has 3 cats. One is a Mother and another is the Daughter and the other is a beautiful shy cat with no relation to the mother and daughter. The mother cat Momma is a very nice cat, and Evermore is non agressive but skiddish. The daughter of Momma, Elvis is extrememly aggressive and she recently int he last couple of months has been attacking my cat. its likeher lifes misssion to come over and get my cat. My cat has become more reserved and scared to go outside. My neighbor even got a seperator between our to apartments to try and stop the fighting. still nothing has worked and Elvis has figured out how to get through the seperator and comes into my place and attacks my cat.

Any suggestions on how to get the cats to get along?

I wouldn't even try to make the cats become friends...some cats (like mine) can live together for years and never become true friends.

I would spray the balcony with a cat repellent to keep the neighbor's cat away
