mikey is becoming more and more affectionate as the days go on. i think he might have had a little depression for a while. probably all the changes in his life...stray, pound, rescue, foster, rescue. he just didnt have the "enthusiasm" that i see in max. but of course they have different temperments too. but....progressively, he is purring and bopping around the house with more and more enthusiasm every day. its so wonderful to have kitties that love each other so much. :kiss_heart: :love_y_t_much: :m41:

Lynn, I just got home from buying cat food -Solid Gold, their favorite and saw the wonderful pics. Could not resist posting. So happy to be the first! :m41:

Hi Lynnhaz. Those are great pics. You made a wise choice by getting Max a little buddy. They seem like they are getting along wonderfully. Max is getting so big! His markings are so amazing. How old is he now? Bengals are very beautiful cats. I can tell that Mikey is going to be quite the stud muffin too.

I don't know why but I'm surpized that they're roughly the same size. I had always pictured Max on the small side. And one of the older pics of Mickey made him look larger.

 

footsie...which pic of mikey?? older pic?? they are all within a couple weeks of each other. ive only had him about three weeks now...month at best. maybe it is certain angles that he looks bigger. they arent that far from each other really. max weighed 7 lbs 14 oz yesterday when he went for his b-12 shot. and mikey weighed 8 lbs 9 oz when i got him 3-4 weeks ago.

but max was sooooo tiny for soooo long. :shock: he just didnt grow when he was sick from all that diarrhea.

lynn theyre so beautiful. I think you made the right decision when you decided to get mickey. It looks like they love eachother and max is happy with your decision also. Almost all the pics are of them together. Theyre brothers now!

It was from when you first got him. The one where he was laying on a bed with his legs strait behind him. Maybe it was just his posture, but I had him in my mind as a long and lean 11 or 12 pounds.
