Last night was hilarious! I decide to give the girls their first raw egg. Jersey sniffed and licked hers, looked aroud suspisciously, and tried to take off with it like it was a treat. She gobbled it right up. Serene, of course, had to be cautious! She licked all around it and ate all the food she could without touching it, and finally when all that was left was the egg, she tried it...and loved it! After they were done checking out each others bowls for scraps, Serene came over, belched in my face like "Thanks mom, that was tasty!"

Luther is always so funny with his egg, some days we will play fetch till the egg breaks!

Annie is hilarious with hers...she carefully takes it in her mouth and walks slooowly with it, then lays down and pokes one little hole it with her tooth, and licks everything out of the inside of the egg, being very careful not to spill a drop. Then once it's empty she crunches up the shell and eats it. I think it's funny how such a hyper active dog show such restraint...hehe

Smokey won't take his whole. You have to kinda "Drop" it and make it crack so he knows whats in it. He won't eat the shell either......
Char on the other hand would take it sooo tenderly like it would shatter under the slightest pressure, then lay down, and "MUCHHHH!!!!" it was gone after that! She was sooo funny!

Nala does what Annie does - perhaps it's a trend among usually hyper dogs to eat eggs delicately. :)

Bonnie has to roll hers around with her nose and paw at it. Every time. LOL.

Do you guys give the whole egg? Its been a while since I gave mine and can't remember if I gave the whole thing or just the yellow or whites of it. Isn't one part of the egg not so good for them. Which part was it?

Its the egg whites......the avidin in them blocks biotin absorption but thats really only a concern if the whites are fed without the yolk.
