hey guys... does your budgie ever just stand on their perch and flap their wings like crazy in one spot? And also I have only downgraded to 2 perches... (my birds food dishes have their own perch built in) does this motivate their minds to figure their way around the cage? Or do you think she is getting frustrated and flapping her wings? SHe can fly to the lower perch easily i have seen her do it... maybe she just likes seeing her toys blow around while shes flapping??? haha fun to figure things like this out

Kiwi does it once in a while and Buster does it too. I think it's their way of exercising their wings.

Its funny when they do it as it looks like they are ready to take off heheheh..

Drab911, I just wanted to let you know I really admire the fact that you are so devoted to your new bird. I can tell she's going to live a very happy life. It's nice to see people like you care so much about their animals! Take care everyone.

    Thanks a lot!
I dont know if its a good or bad thing but when I get a new "hobby" i guess you could call it I get kinda obsessed over it haha... just want to know as much as I can.. and when it comes to a life of an animal you want it to feel the best it can!!

I agree as i have always said a true loving animal lover will always have questions and will research over and over again as there is always something new that pops up and owners need advice on it.

I think your doing a great job with your bird same goes for everyone on this forum it shows how much you all love your pets...
