Flirt Pole and Spring Pole...

    Lots of people are getting these mixed up here and there so I figured I'd post about what each of them is so there's not confusion about them by folks on this board.

    Flirt Pole: a pole with a rope and toy at the end (fishing pole type thing). People use a Flirt Pole to raise prey drive in their dogs or to exercise with smaller ammount of exersion on the owners part...the dogs chase the toy around and around with acrobatics in there as well... It's a great toy but gets them REALLy excited. Hunnyjade LOVES the flirt pole.

    Spring Pole: is an item haning from a pole or tree... A rope hanging from a tree with a toy etc. on the end. The rope is attached to a spring and then the tree or pole and the dog plays tug of war with it...

    Be carefull with these items as in some states they are considered dog fighting parafanalia.
