Former feral cat is hiding in house and can't find her

    Does anyone have any suggestions for how to entice a cat out of hiding? I rescued her about 7 years ago when she was a feral cat. She hasn't been out of doors for 5years. I've had other feral cats cohabitating...all of whom (sadly) were plagued with FIV AND FELINE LEUKEMIA which I know is very contagious. The other formerly feral cats I had only lived a relatively short life as well. She had been coughing for a while, and now for the past two days I haven't seen her and can't find her, despite looking in every conceivable place. I'm afraid that she is sick and is hiding and may die if I can't get her out of hiding.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for enticing a cat out of hiding, especially if she is sick?
