    Help!!
I found a tick on my cats face- pretty engorged.
It was a light beighe color, and in fact looked like either a sunflower seed (small)- which is how I noticed it. :(
My cat only goes out on his leash MAYBE 40 minutes once pr twice a week at the most. I have 3 cats and 1 dog.
I got it off OK and brought it to my vet (Who wasn't in yet) and was told to call the Vet in the morning.
My cat's face has a red rash type mark where the tick was- but I think its from My husband and I pulling and stuff-
I don't think its a Bullseye rash- but who knows.
I hope its a Dog tick and not a Deer tick. :!:
I feel soooo bad for my kitty. :(
He's already a Diabetic, he doesn't need Lymes on top of it all. :(
ANyway- anybody have advice or info for me.
    PLease write back!!
    Thanks for your help!!!

when you squeeze a tick, to pull it off, the tick releases something from its mouth that causes the bump. Keep it clean and it'll go down in a few days.
I've had to remove a couple of ticks from myself this year :x and got the red bump too - and I won't mention where the worse of my ticks was found
    Don't panic
