Freckles being a toot, again, and again, and....

Freckles almost made it through a whole weekend being normal then he had to blow it last night.
Saturday I located a source of top quality dogfood so we went to look over the selection. This old feed and seed store had all of the top brands but I settled on Innova. I bought one bag of regular and one bag of EVO. I plan to slowly make the transfer from Eukanuba to Innova over the next two weeks. At the check out counter there were bins of natural dog treats so we bought two very large biscuits. Sunday afternoon I took one biscuit out of the bag that was on a kitchen counter, broke it in half, and gave a chunk to the boys.
Later that evening, I took the remaining biscuit out of the bag and left it on the counter.
Later...Bedtime. I let the boys out for a final run and both took care of business. Then to the bedroom where I went to brush my teeth and Dukesmom went back to turn lights off and set the alarm. As I came out of the bathroom Dukesmom said Freckles was acting strange. Sure enough. While Duke had settled down on his spot on the bed, Freckles was pacing frantically about and going to the bedroom door as if he really really needed to go back out.
I didn't want to doubt that he had to go again, and not wantiing to take the chance that he just might poop at any second, I opened the bedroom door and Freckles rushed out. I followed, turning on some lights and turning off the alarm. Then I rushed over to the back door and opened it expecting Freckles to rush past. NOT. Freckles was nowhere to be seen.
I then turned on the kitchen light to find the toot sitting there, drooling, and looking up at the counter where he saw me put that big biscuit.
That's it. No emergency, he just wanted another chunk of that biscuit.
I am tired of his cry wolf routines but I know that if I ignore him I will have to clean up the mess, and I guess he knows it too, so he just continues to pull my strings.

that sounds exactly like luther, in fact he did that last night! I thought, hmm he was just outside a few minues ago, but what if poops (or worse pees, because pee is definitely harder to clean up), but I gave in and he sat beside the treats and begged and begged and Iwas like what?? you didn't even do anything. So I let him run in the backyard, well he went out there and sat and gave me a look, like how dare you not give me, luther ,the prince of all princes, a treat, we'll have to see if I allow yuo to grace my presence as i sleep tonight.

    Hehehe that's pretty funny.

My Dad is back in the hospital, so it's pretty much been run home and let the girls out, feed them, let them back out and go back to the hospital. Now I'm feeling guilty about this, but they just think everytime I come home they should get fed! They go out, do their business and come in and sit at the cabinet door. Silly weenies!
