And no, it's not a kitten. This one will be of the human kind. I am now 10 weeks pregnant! I'm a bit nervous of how the fur kids will react, but I think (hope) they'll adjust just fine. The baby is expected to arrive March 27.

Just thought I'd finally share my news with all of you!

    Congratulations. That is wonderful.

I'm sure your kitties will do just fine.
Most of my children were born when I had kitties and there was no problem.

That's great news, I'm sure both kitties will do fine. Be sure to give them just as much attention as before, but I have no doubt you will :D

Congratulations, Halaroo! :0018: I believe this little baby with be an adjustment for all of you, not just the cats. My wife is due in a few weeks and I'm a bit worried about the cats too. LOL. I suppose all you can do is just make sure you give them plenty of love and attention, despite the fact that the baby will be needing you 24/7. I have this feeling that "princess" Moe will not adjust as well to the baby as Artemis. But, I think they will both be fine after a bit. :D

Thanks everyone! I actually think Moe will be fine, but Artemis is the one we'll have issues with. He likes to scratch things and attack anything that moves. He gets very jealous of Moe when I give her attention. Moe has been around a baby before and she tends to just sniff them and walk away.

Thanks again! I had a coctor's appointment this morning and everything looks good. And, I get to go meet my mid-wife tomorrow morning, so that's exciting! It's hard to get a mid-wife around here so I'm very loucky I was able to snag one!

BTW JeanW - I don't think I've welcomed you to the forums yet! =P~
