Ok Guys. Houston may not be getting much. I don't know, but we sure are! We had some heavy storms for the past two weeks. But right now Emily is making her way to the Texas border and is causing all kinds of ruccus. We are right on top of her in The gulf... so if you look where she is on a map, look straight up and there we are! She's about 250 miles from us, and we're begining to feel it.
Right now the Sky is a DARK navy blue, the wind is picking up a bit, but not horrible... its thundering and lightening like crazy! The horses are all running around and acting stupid, so that usually indicates a good storm coming. Hopefully their smart enough (and usually are) to get under their barns.

I'll be crating my dogs and brining them inside tonight. So any of you that are IN the hurricane, good luck.... Houston, the weatherman LIED!!! We are getting a good dose of her!

They always say the east and north of a Hurricane is the worst.... We're getting the north eastern blow of her, I'm just glad we're not getting all of her!!!

Good luck yall, be safe and I'll get back online when I can. As for now, I've gotta get stuff in and tied down!!!

    Sams,
We didn't get anything here in town but read in the paper this morning that south Texas will be getting a lot of rain. This may cause a lot of flash flooding along the Rio Grande as has happened with past storms.
That system may now turn to the north and bring more rain to our area ion a day or so.
Hope you and your crew are OK.

We're all great and doing fine. We got soem serious thunder storms and awsome light shows with the lightning.. and lots of rain. We got about 8-10 inches in the two days...
