Good Book!

I read this book a few years ago and I loved it.

The author actually lives with a bunch of cats and tells some stories about their antics that are just so cute and funny. Plus, I think it really gave me a lot of insight into how my cats mind works. It's a good read. I also liked the Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul. Very heartwarming tales about all sorts of animals.

This one looks like a good read too... The Feline Mystique: On the Mysterious Connection Between Women and Cats. And this one looks hilarious! Hiss and Tell: True Stories from the Files of a Cat Shrink ...

Anyone else read these books or others that they think are good? We need to start a book club or something.

 

I used to frequent the library and read books on cats and dogs. Darn, can't remember the titles and authors. Geez, I think I caught Mary's "senior" moment. :mrgreen: Chicken soup stories are wondeful.

I've had a really hard time finding good cat behavior books. There are so many good ones about dogs but there seems to be so few about cats.

A few other books:
The Cats Mind by Dr. Bruce Fogle - I've read this one and thought it was interesting. I learned some new things as well.

Cat Behavior and Training: Veterinary Advice for Owners by Lowell Ackerman, DVM - I've read this and thought it was just okay. I think it needs to be updated with more current information.

Feline Behavior by Bonnie Beaver - I just bought this the other day and I've only just started reading it but so far it seems like its going to be another good read.
