Ok, so I need a life LOL But I'm happy about it. PetSmart was out of the ones they had on sale for $12 but they had a similar one for $14 so we got that. I put it together and sat it on the floor with the door open with one of her favorite towels in it. She seems to enjoy 'hiding' inside it. I'm hoping that this will get her used to it so that when we have to take her to the vet next month she won't freak out too much. Being an indoor cat, she gets really stressed out when we have to take her to the vet. But luckily, he's just around the block from us so it's not a long ride.

I just wanted to give a special thanks to those that PM'd me offering to help set me up with one. You folks here at auspet ROCK!

My cat loves kitty carriers, not so much going out in them but he loves to sleep inside them and explore in them.

That's awesome! Hehe, now I still need to get a hold of one! But for now, I'll stick with the neato cardboard ones they have around here. But I get worried with them because... what if it rains?! Then kitty AND the box will get all soggy n' wet! i wouldn't like that! But I have my eye on a real one, jus' gonna wait two more weeks before I get it, so I'll have it intime for the kitties when they go to get their shots.

But anyway, congrats on the kitty box!!

good for you - I got a vinyl one through ebay a couple of years ago and I use it for my little Missy. Zeus doesn't fit in it well  so I need to get him a bigger one. I had a bigger one but when I sent Dora home I used it for her (she needed a bigger one) and her now people wanted to keep it so I let them (although they had to put a deposit down and I get the deposit) so now I'm waiting for Siamese Rescue tor reimburse me for that carrier so I can replace it cause Zeus has an appointment next week (sorry that was kinda long winded).

New carriers are fun - LOL - I don't have much of a life either. I'm getting my first-ever brand spank'in new stove Monday  and I'm excited over that (sick isn't it).

i had to buy a carrier for Razberry... i keep it out for the babies to sleep/play in so they know it's not a big bad 'thing' designed to carry them to pain soon as they go into it.

my logic it will facilitate easier loading for times when it WILL carry them somewhere they dont wanna be lol

MAN 14 bux? wish they were that cheap up here. :(

Rabbit if you were closer i would definately help but honestly the shipping would cost more than the carrier! What about the shelter your gonna be workin at do they have any or are there any aspca's near you the one where I work gives them out for a 5$ donations! Hope that helps
