I have 2 cats, they are brother and sister aand about 1 year old nd are house cats. They are perfectly happy or at least seem to be, The male cat always grooms his sister, and recently has strated pulling out small clumps of her fur. when we see him doing this we stop him but he is continueing to do it. Is there any reason he would be doing this???

    All help welcome

has there been any changes in your household? Cats can overgroom due to stress but usually only themselves.
Is she healthy? Maybe a vet check is in order. Strange that she'd let him groom her to an early state of female pattern baldness

She has epilepsy, how ever appart from that is perfectly healthy but is very kitten like in her behaviour and size. There have been no changes in the household. He has been neutered and she hasn't. They have always cleaned/groomed each other but this fur pulling grooming started about a month going, she doesn't seem to mind when he does it.

you might want to start distracting him when he starts to get to the point of removing her fur. Perhaps a toy or a treat to get him to slow down a bit.

:m23: and welcome! I don't have anything to add except that it'll be alright as long as she doesn't mind the excessive grooming and that he's not drawing blood. Looking foward to seeing their pics if you have any to share.
