put her in a hospital tank or separate one so she can lay her eggs. You'll see the fry in 2 days or so. Make sure they are separated from everyone else. Buy some of that liquid food thing for babies when they start swimming.

Mwn. yes your right, guppies dont lay eggs, the name live bearers means that they give birth to living moving mini fish, like a humanYou can put your guppy mum in a breeder, and let her plop em out or put her in her own tank so she can freely drop them, never leave the mum ina breeder for too long tho. (stress).

she does look ready to give.
look out for unbalanced swimming, and not eating. Also hiding, as shes looking for somewhere to put her fry out away from others.

she may well try and eat her fry tho, so be aware.

    HUM!!

I have heard it can take from 30 -90 days depending on the temp in the tank. I am not sure but my female went 30 days every time she has fry, except for the last time when she died giving birth (it had only been 26 days since the last fry were born).

How long has it been??? How worm is your tank?? is she acting any different. My female would act crazy one day before and she would not eat.

Sorry to hear that your pregant guppie died. I had the same thing happen to my mom guppies while she was giving birth.

I have heard that that happens sometimes when they are pregant.
