dont forget to protect your pets tonight..the kids around may scare some cats and dogs...plus dont forget about all the candy...just want all our beloved "babies" to stay safe on this holiday!!

Definitely good advice. I wonder if black cats still get kidnapped a lot around Halloween. I personally hate seeing all the "scary black cat" imagery around Halloween time, it seems to reinforce the idea of cats being some kind of scary monsters or something, which I'm afraid can lead to making it easier for sick people to justify hurting them.

Case in point:

 

Thank you for the reminder. I almost forgot to put all the candies away last night. It's a good thing I read this post. Chocolate is toxic to kitties. :shock:

 

Moe was not happy with all the doorbell activity and sounds of screechy little voices last night! She had big eyes and couldn't sit still. Poor baby!

I made sure to give her some treats after it was all over.

 

Milo made a mad dash for the front door when the doorbell rang. Luckily, we caught him in time. And there were only 3 kids the whole night. :shock: :0016: :m13:

 

yeah romeo got scared when he saw the kids in the window..and he has never run from anyone but he bolted into the bedroom...so i just kept him there...but only had like 5 kids

 

Socks and Mittens are excellent at disappearing when excitement happens. They didn't come out until it was all over.
