    Do they EVER become independent? I'm doubting that given that mine is now 7! He drives me crazy as much as I love him. It's like having a toddler that never grows up. Some days I really appreciate him, others he's like a chore if that makes sense? He gets loads of love every day from me and my family, but really he's such a baby!
