Happy New Year to All My Auspet Friends

I can't believe this year has passed by so quickly. We have all shared wonderful stories and also grief at the loss of some of our great friends and companions, Char, Sharge, Pinky, and Harley to mention a few. We also sharred scary events that turned out OK. Remember it was last February when Duke was slashed with a knife. Never caught the guy who did that but we also never saw him again at the lake. For all of you new members here is a thread to that horrifying event:

Just as we had to say goodbye to some of our old pups we also greeted a new generation in that never ending cycle of life.
It is my hope and prayer that 2005 only brings joy to all.

Oh my...I am in shock! I just read that thread you posted. I cannot believe someone would knife a dog! That person needs to be shot. How sad for your baby :cry:
I am glad he is OK...poor thing! Does he have a scar?

If you look real close you can see a line of slightly lighter fur but nothing noticible. With a Labs thick undercoat you really can't get down to look at the skin. I suspect that thick coat protected him from a more severe cut.
