    I've had a dove when I was younger. It was a good bird and friendly as well. It just poops too much and whistle a lot in the morning. Unfortunately it flew from us and never came back.

    Where do you buy them. I have only seen doves at the pet store once and then the next day when I went to buy them they were sold.

    I got my from a local pet store. They are rare these days so you just need to call around or look for them in classified ads in the internet....do a search.
