Has anyone used Orthovet splints?

I'd written about my dog Tyson's broken foot and messed-up joint...I took him in today and the vet said he may have snapped a tendon at his wrist. I still need to take him back for x-rays and the word 'surgery' was mentioned - but I think that is out of my price range...I'd be more concerned but he's getting around pretty good already and the vet said long-term pain med/fatty acids/glucosamine would help. But the wrist sags when he walks and looks like it needs support. I aksed the vet about orthvet but they hadn't heard of it. Has anyone used orthovet splints? (www.orthovet.com)
