I work at an animal hospital and Hope is a dog we found outside out office one morning tied up with a note on her that said "this dog is old, put her to sleep." Being the animal lovers we are, we couldnt do that and we decided to save her. When she came to us her skin was bright red, she was missing patched of fur, and she was extemely skinny. She has been in our kennels know for 3 weeks and already her skin isnt red anymore, her fur is growing back, and we are working on fattening her up.

We could tell she was depressed in our kennels, all she did was sleep and she never showed any emotion. I decided to foster her till we can find her forever home. After 2 days of being home with me I can already see a differnece in this old dog. When I come outside to see her she gets up wags her tail and comes over to me as fast as she can. I can see a light in her eyes that wasnt there before, she has hope now.

Hope has some problems that we are fixing, nothing serious. Infact she is getting a full on exam today so we can fix any problems before she find her forver home. She is so sweet and you can tell that all she wants is someone who will love her unconditionally, someone who will give her a warm bed and lots of food and who will let her live out the rest of her days in peace surronded by love.

If you or anyone you know can open their heart and home to Hope please let me know, PM me or respond to this. I live in Southern Califonia,Im willing to drive her where ever I need to if it means she will have a home!
    Thanks!

She looks very sweet...I think she wouldn't find a lot of peace in my household with bouncy girl Annie, but I'll talk to my mom...she has our old arthritic German Shepherd who likes dogs who don't move too fast. My dad will say no more dogs..but he always says that and it's never seemed to make a difference. She may be interested.
