Help! My baby's wing is deformed! :(

Hey all, I've got 2 finch babies in a nest and I believe the parents have too much nesting material in there as the nest itself is not unusually small, yet the babies seem crowded. It turns out that one of the babies wings is flipped kind of upward. It's hard to explain. My mom and I are attempting to make a tiny body cast for him (This baby is soooooooo cute, it's a crested zebra baby...so adorable!) With what we have in mind it should allow him better use of his feet, those too are sort of deformed and he's still growing so I think if we can get this to work he'll at least be able to get around when he's older. So...if anyone has any sort of suggestion, or has experienced anything like this I'd love to hear from you! I'm so desperate for this little guy, he's very sweet! Thanks guys!

Hi Mandi would you be able to post a picture or email me one of the baby so i have a better idea of what is going on.

I have only ever seen something similar in chicks that have been hurt by there parents due to them stepping on them when they enter or leave the nest.

I do not think a body cast will work i think your best bet is to have him looked over by an avian vet it maybe they can re-align his wing.
