Help with Filter for 3 gallon

Hi,
I am setting up a 3 gallon, planted tank with a couple shrimp (and perhaps one or two additional small organisms). The tank has a hood that closes completely flush, so to me it doesn't seem like a hang on filter is an option (?). I would love a heater/filter combo, but its not necessary. Any suggestions?

For such a small tank, you could probably get by with a small air pump powered sponge or corner filter like these:

Or a small internal power filter like these:

(although finding one that won't be overkill for such a small tank might be a bit difficult).
