always let them out of the cage at least two to three hours per day.

Hi what would you like to know.

Excersise... They should be allowed out of the cage for about 1hour a couple of times per day this helps strenghten there wings and helps form a bond betweenowner and bird.

Seed husks should be removed from the food should be replaced everyday i do it twice a day.
Water should be changed twice daily this prevents bacteria building up in the water.

Cage sgould be cleaned out 2-3times per week and thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant once a week this includes scrubbing perches toys food and water dishes.

Also they love having a bath so you can either use a mist spray bottle to wet the fethers or provide them with a bird bath which clips to the cage or a dish of water placed on the cage floor away from perches so that any poop does not go in it.
Always keep the room temperature the same at all times especially when they have had a bath.

Never place the cage in direct sunlight or where there is a draught a draughty corner is more fatal to a bird than a cold room.
Also if your out alot and there is no-one home birds love music so leaving a stereo or tv on will help keep the bird calm while your gone.
Anything else you would like to know just feel free to ask away.

    Mike
