My husband and I recently adopting a 2 month old puppy. We already have a 2 1/2 year old male black lab. The black lab has no agression issues with other dogs. When we introduced him to the new puppy he started to growl and show his teeth any time she got near. He has even snapped at her once. Please help us with some tips to help them get along. We are not sure what to.

Chevygirl how has it been going with the new pup and your lab? I have found that if you put the new pup in a crate the other dog can go up to and smell and get used to them. Or locking the new pup in a bathroom but the existing dog can still smell them from under the door. The nice thing about the crate they can see eachother as well.
Hope that it is going well
