most rescues and shelters will accept these. When the cat goes home their snuggly goes with them....I make tons for my local shelter. I save my leftover yarn (I'm a knitting freak - emphasis should be placed on the word freak) or buy yarn lots through ebay.

Mary, do you know if there's anything like this in the UK, I can knit and I've got loads of left over bits of wool that would make quite a few snuggles. I could post them but it would be good to donate to home if I can.

someone in Scotland is looking into it for me....she sent me an email that she knows someone else is interested - maybe it's something you can get together via email and work on doing for UK shelters
