Out of curiosity, have you taken her in to have blood work done? She could have thyroid problems. One of my cats used to be about a 7 or 8 then over the course of a couple years got down to about a 3 or 4. We had blood work done and found out she had thyroid problems and kidney problems. The pills for her thyroid did help (until her kidneys and cancer got bad).

max and mikey are perfect weights. they are muscular and lean. both weigh about ten pounds.

christopher is solid solid solid. thats the only word to describe him. hes like a football player, or wild cat. low to the ground, but well proportioned. i just took him last week to be weighed. he weighs 12.5 lbs. definitely bigger than my other two, although his size, height and length are really the same. he looks like hes a weightlifter!! lols...

that's like Zeus - he weighs more than the Dixie Chick but he's thinner more solid than she is. But he's also a large male

That's like Emily (13.5lb ragdoll). You can't feel her bones, but it's all muscle, not fat. Jupiter is also solid (not fat) but not quite as big as Emily. Romeo is still a little thin (maybe a 4) but he's been steadily putting on weight. He was probably a 3 when we got him. And Tennessee is still a bably going through growth spurts so she really fluctuates but she was about a 2 when we got her. She was 6 weeks old and the shelter had her on dry food which she couldn't eat.

Have you tried making your own catfood with fresh meat? There's lots of recipes available online.

no is it expensive...she does eat one kind of cat food...fancy feast grilled chicken in gravy....

i found a flea on her head today...but no where else...and there are none on the boys...hmmm wonder if that is anyting

It's not really that expensive. What we did was any time we'd thaw out some chicken or turkey, or whatever we were going to eat for dinner, we'd just thaw out a little extra to use in the cat food.

Booger is definitely on the heavy side. When she was lying on her side, I tried feeling for her ribs and couldn't find em  She definitely has a belly. Her next vet visit is in August and I'm sure he's going to put her on a diet.

All 4 cats are 13-14 lbs. Rene and Milo are a 5 and Pumpkin and Monty look overweight. Their vet said that they are healthy and fit. I think Pumpkin is too fat since she has no will to excercise or play with other kitties. Monty on the other hand, looks chubby, but excercises all the time.

According to the chart, in order from skinny to fattest:
    I think Hoggle is a 4, Chieve is a 5, Tiddy is a 6
Bean, Richie, Rhiannon & Bella are 7s. I'm betting Bella was even an 8 a few months ago.
