Holy swimming pools, Batman!!

    on the 4th of July. (I know it's not a cat, but I had to show you what I found in my swimming pool on the morning of the 4th.)

    This was after he dried out for a few hours. I took some pics when he was wet and he looks like a drowned rat. (pardon the pun)

    No, he went on to fly that evening. And I've seen him hanging on the garage during the day. They are supposed to be good luck...I sure could use some!

    Oh how cool! We used to have bats when I lived in Alabama. We would be swinging on the porch swing and they would swoop down onto and out of the porch to check out what the movement was. We would also toss a ball up into the air and they would swoop that too.

    Wow, that looks like a pretty big bat. We have little ones here we see flying in the evening swooping and catching bugs. The one in your picture is very interesting looking.

    Wow, pretty neat! Glad it's ok, but be careful anyway. some bats are known to carry rabies.
