how did you do that

Question to all you members, how did ya put that picture on w/your profile? I used to be able to just type the web page for my pictures and they would show up I see most of you have your pictures showing, how do you do that too? New to the whole picture thing I finally got a device for my computer to read my memory stick and I now would like to show my picts.......THanks..............(if this works and a picture shows up I just need help w/my first question)
