for a male cat to recover from being fixed?? I have not had this done in so long i forgot. I'm thinking of having butters and fonzi done early next week but the problem is i'm going away for the weekend leaving friday morning and comming home monday morning. I was thinking if i could get it done monday or tuesday at the latest they would be ok if i left and i would have my daughter check on them or maybe she would stay here while i'm gone. So do you think that is a good idea? If i wait till the following week it will be easter weekend and the following after that i will have about 30 people at my house for a bridal shower. geez to much to do but i REALLY NEED to get them done.

As long as its 'routine' my males have always been back to normal within a couple of days (females about a week to 10 days). If done on Monday I would think by Friday he would be okay to have your daughter check in on him.

Hi. :D It also took Handsome (R.I.P.) and Romeo just a couple of days to get back to their normal spunky selves. I wish both of your cats a speedy recovery.
