Hey everyone.. so I am set to move in about 3 weeks.. and I would really like to have both of my budgies in the same cage come moving day... however I would be much more comfortable if both birds were able to fly just as well... I have had my new one about 3 weeks now.. and His wings were clipped since I got him.. how long until you guys think he will be able to fly? do you think it will be in time for me to move? thanks for the input!

Hi its unlikely because his wings are clipped the new wing feathers do not grow back in till they go through a molt and even then it can take anywhere from 4weeks to 4months to get them back again so my guess is no they won.t be through for moving day...

Both birds will be safe in the same cage providing you have had them seperated for 35days.
