How often do you bursh your dog's teeth? Every day, once a week, once a month, etc??

Never. The bones brush their teeth when they eat. :D

wow, look at those pearly whites! I have never brushed my dogs teetch, they do look pretty good, I thinks its because they chew on their bones, which helps keep them clean

She was fairly unhappy with me while taking that picture, though. :)

i have never brushed any dogs teeth.
luthers teeth were pretty bad but they are alot better when he eats raw. it is amazing the difference. his teeth get really gross if he eats kibble, it gts stuck in all the crevices inhis teeth and makes his breath stinky!!

Before we started on raw, I was giving Nala a Greenie once or twice a week and putting OxyFresh (I think that's what it is called - I got it from our vet) in her water. I was planning to brush her teeth as well. But then we started on raw and now it's not necessary.

I would imagine if your dog tolerates it okay, brushing every day would be best! Do make sure you use doggie toothpaste and NOT human toothpaste, though.

I brushed Chobby's teeth almost everyday. Well, he's a small guy, so it's easier. Introduce the brush and the toothpaste slowly. Practice everyday, and eventually he will let you brush his teeth.

What kind of bones do you give your dog that clean their teeth? Marrow ( or soup) bones?
    Thanks :)

My dogs eat bones and raw meat instead of kibble, so any kind of bones clean their teeth - chicken, pork, fish, beef, lamb, rabbit, duck - you name it!

I used to brush Natalie's teeth once or twice a week but I unintentionally got out of that habit later on. I've never even attempted to brush Sebastian's teeth...I think he'd put up quite a fight.

honeybears - I have seen those knuckle bones in Petsmart/Petco. They are wrapped in plastic, right? I didn't know if they were good for dogs...they seem to have some seasoning or something all over them. So they are good for dogs? Thanks again :D
