How Tollerant are YOUR fluffs?

    i was just curious...

With Razberry my blind bundle of love, i can handle him easily, clipping his nails and even wiping around his sockets (outter) without any sort of fuss at all from him.

One day i had to stick him in the sink coz he had stepped in some poo and he was knee deep in water and really didnt mind that either.

Lex, mister 'big boned' drool bag, is not -that- tollerant but i can clip his nails with little trouble and can carry him around in just about any position and he's content.

Wondering if it may be just the cats certain temperment, the owner, a combo or what... whats it like for everyone else?

My gracie used to HATE being held at all, in any position. She tolerated you if you pet her in a way she liked, but other than that, she stayed away from most of the humans. In the last year or two though, she has had a nearly complete personality reversal, lol. We actually checked to be sure we had the right cat. She now LOVES being handled and held. I can hold her in just about any position that I want to, and she loves it. The only thing that hasn't really changed with her is her love of being petted right behind the ears, lol.

Both of you have such nice, tolerant kitties. Only Pumkin will let me clip her nails without complaints. The rest just run away. Strangely enough, Rene likes to be picked up. Monty is the only one that doesn'y like to be handled unless it's zoom grooming time.

    let's see...
    Missy pees on me
Tilly is declawed (not by me) but I'm sure if I had to clip her claws the results wouldn't be any better than with Missy
Zeus growls at me and hisses threats to free my head from my body.
Dixie Chick is wonderful. She just lays there and lets me give her a manicure.

Max lets me clip his nails as long as he is not watching so i put a small blanket on his head when he is laying on his side and i start clipping and he is fine. but if i dont put the blanket he will stare at my hand and suddenly nip it. He loves being scrached and petted around his ears and neck only..if i go lower on his back..he will tolarate it for a min and then gets up and leaves. He would pat at my kids hands if they try to pet him. i can carry him in any way and he doesnt mind. He tolarates taking a bath and getting his teeth brushed. Max gets scared easily.
Mini lets me clip her nails very easily. she loves being petted even by my kids. she lets me pick her up and carry her in any position. she would try to climb me so that i can pick her up..she loves sitting on my shoulder. she doesnt like having her teeth brushed..but she is getting used to it. she never ever tried to nip or scratch me or the kids no matter what. she is so gentle. she is also very confident..she doesnt get scared at all.
