hey! i still haven't gotten ranger signed up for agility, but im getting there....but now im wondering about hunting classes for snickers. my grandad was over here the other day, and was telling me that with two fine brittanys in the back, one better be a hunter! since he said htat, i have been watching them, wondering if either of them would seem to enjoy it or be any good at it, and ive noticed snickers naturally pointing and hunting birds and squirels, so i was just wondering if any one knew of anywhere i could get her taught around here! preferably somewhere where an instrcutor instucted me in how to instruct her (did you get that?) so that i or someone who would actually be hunting with her would be the ones training her.

I dont know anytting about hunting, but I think you need to start training your dogs as pups. thats what my neighbor did. actually started when the dog was 10 weeks old.

That is probably what we would have done, but we only got Snickers a few weeks ago. I am hoping that because it seems to come so naturally to her, and she is eager to please, she will be easy to train despite her age.

Try the breed club, there may be a regional as well as national club and they probably have a website with info or breeders in your area who could assist you.

    Good luck!
