I wouldn't mind getting bears as long as they are on the other side of our fence/yard. We do get beautiful families of deers due to overdevelopment in the subburbs. They are always getting hit by cars.

You get ducks? Cool. We only get squirrels and chipmunks in our backyard.

We have tons of Canada Geese around the office though. Our parking lot is overloaded with chicks right now, which is kind of neat. I really need to bring my camera in and take some pictures.

We have tons of squirrels, huge rabbits and moles in our yard. The geese usually hang out in larger bodies of water near where we live. The ducks come every spring. In fact they love the cold weather as they are often seen in Niagara Falls. Here are a couple pics of the ducks in action in our neighbors' yard last spring after the snow melted:

Cute picture. We get wild turkeys and lots of deer (the deer eat our plants). The deer are so pretty but we have an overabundance of them, too. We also get squirrels, chipmonks, Cooper's Hawks and other various birds.

We don't get bears (thanks goodness - I'd probably move out) and we don't get ducks.

    I wouldn't mind having ducks :D

Lol! I can see his brain working: "How can I get passed that window..??"

We have hens in our back yard, the people we rent from have a hen house in their garage, and they are free to roam during the day. And except for small birds and cats, that's about it :D

I miss the country settings where I grew up in Taiwan. Grandpa has his cats which I love watching since one of them dives in the ponds for fish. Our neighbor across the street had hundreds of geese, our other neighbors had ducks and chickens that also roam free. I love watching the chicks and ducklings except their moms would never let me near them without getting pecked at. Then there's ox used in the farm fields.

Thanks Lynn and Bente. They don't jump through the screens, thank goodness although Rene has scratched up the screen pretty badly.
