and Catnip isn't doing well in her new home. She isn't eating or pooping. She goes to the vet today. I feel so bad for her. She has great adopters but I do think she thought she was home already.
I picked up Jake VA5963 http://www.siameserescue.org in the VA location
he is a handsome fellow although a bit quirky. He's quick to nip if not paid attention to. Poor guy lived with an older woman who developed Alzheimers and she had to go live with family. Family put him in a shelter. I'm sure he's angry about it all and will settle down.
It's sad for the lady who had him too

First:::: sorry to hear about Catnip I hope that she settles down, poor thing she did think that she was home... Thats the hard thing about fostering they get used to you and your home etc then it's gone. Go Catnip!! you can do it.
Secondly: Congrats on your new foster!! what a good looking fella.... Sucks about the situation but at least they gave him another chance....

thanks for asking vene....Catnip did resume eating over the weekend although not her usual "get 'er done" way of eating. I think the girl was constipated. She started pooping M&M's (ahhh the visual) and then started to eat building up to more normal poops. I think she was on her way to blockage. But she's doing better and I think the nursing her to normal was a helpful bond w/her adopters.
Jakey - on pledged already
He's going home next Saturday. Staying in NH.
His adopter is WONDERFUL and she was crying telling me about the loss of her Sebastian last summer.
Advanced renal failure and a personality like Jakey (demanding).
You can see Jake at http://www.siameserescue.org
Just type in Jake...he won't be under NH anymore cause he's pledged
